Nestled within the chic Barisotel Hotel, this cool, white coffee shop mirrors the hotel’s sleek, minimalist design, offering a calming escape from the bustling Nimman streets. It’s one of several branches of Baristro, a speciality coffee-roasting company in Chiang Mai with an emphasis on design and quality.
A Minimalist White Haven at Barisotel
Step inside Barisotel, and you’re immediately struck by the all-white minimalist interior. It’s a double-height loft-like space with floor-to-ceiling windows at the entrance and industrial-style windows along one side, bathing the space with natural light. Every corner exudes simplicity, with clean lines and thoughtfully curated decor adding to the overall peaceful atmosphere.

The white theme extends to the seating, with white chairs, an off-white cushioned bench, and sleek white marble tabletops. Wooden accents from the table and chair legs add warmth, while the barista counter features white tiles, complemented by a sleek white Marzocco espresso machine. Hanging white industrial-style lamp shades complete the look.
Beyond the barista counter, you’ll discover some bar stool seating, a co-working table, and additional seating upstairs on a small mezzanine with a gleaming white marble floor.
Where Quality Meets Creativity: Barisotel’s Coffee & Brunch
The focus at Barisotel isn’t just on design—it’s on quality too. They serve expertly brewed coffee, crafted from premium beans roasted in-house by Baristro, sourced both internationally and locally to support regional farmers. Choose from their signature blends or single-origin beans.

Whether you’re in the mood for a rich espresso, a velvety cappuccino, or a refreshing iced latte, each drink is thoughtfully crafted. With options like cold brew, nitro, and drip coffee from the Slow Bar, there’s a brew to suit everyone.
Beyond the coffee, Barisotel offers a range of creative specials and signature drinks. From the unique Baristro Beer with Cream Cheese and Chrysanthemum to the rich and indulgent Baristro Mocha with Cocoa Sauce, or the refreshing Green Coconut with Matcha Green Tea.

A selection of traditional teas, fruit frappes, sodas, and juices are also available.
Signature Roti and Brunch Favourites
The Barisotel’s all-day brunch menu features favourites like toasted sandwiches, ham & cheese croissants, a pesto bagel with scrambled egg and bacon, and the inventive Shokupan Bacon Truffle. Classics such as the American breakfast, pan-fried eggs, and fried egg and bacon toast are also on offer. For something sweet, try one of their standout pastries or cakes—among the best you’ll find in Chiang Mai. And don’t miss the chance to try their signature Guu Fusion Crispy Roti for a unique treat.

Take Home the Taste: Coffee and Merchandise at Barisotel
On display in the shop, you’ll find a wide array of coffee beans, coffee capsules, and drip bags available for purchase. They also offer a selection of Baristro branded items, including t-shirts and bags.

Baristro Origins
From Roti to Roastery: The Rise of The Baristro
The Baristro was founded in 2015 in Chiang Mai, with its first location at Jing Jai Market. It was a new venture for the owner of Guu Fusion Roti, who aimed to offer delicious coffee in a stylish, air-conditioned space—a combination still rare in Chiang Mai at the time. He quickly achieved his goal while maintaining synergy with Guu Roti by serving their signature crispy roti alongside his coffee.
Today, The Baristro stands as one of the most popular and respected destinations for quality coffee in Chiang Mai. It has expanded to nine locations, with its latest branch, The Baristro Coffee Roaster, opening in 2023.
