Café de Oasis is a haven of peace, tucked away just off the outer ring road opposite the Chiang Mai International Convention Centre. Nestled behind a lush wall of foliage, it’s easily missed. The distinctive original blue and yellow sign featuring a moustachioed gentleman enjoying a cup of coffee has now been replaced with a more subtle signage, but the cafe’s charm and tranquil atmosphere remain unchanged. It continues to be a must-visit restaurant in Chiang Mai.

Unveiling the Oasis: Outdoor Areas
Entering through the narrow, overgrown doorway of Café de Oasis, you step into a tropical courtyard, complete with stylish wicker furniture and large parasols – the first of three outdoor areas. Venture further into the spacious premises, and you’ll discover the centrepiece – a majestic Banyan tree and koi pond, with artificial mist wrapping around exotic foliage, creating a truly enchanting, almost mystical garden atmosphere.

Finding Your Perfect Spot
You can choose to relax in any of the outside zones — the decked areas around the Banyan tree with the sound of trickling water are especially calming. Or chill inside in air-conditioned comfort in one of the boldly styled, eclectic interiors adorned with contemporary art. These classy interiors boast a boho charm and provide a comfortable retreat from the heat. You’ll find additional seating upstairs too, above the main seating area.

A Blend of Thai and Western Cuisine at Café de Oasis
Café de Oasis offers an extensive menu featuring a variety of high-quality and tasty Thai and Western dishes, complemented by a selection of coffee, tea, and refreshing beverages like 100% fruit juices, sodas, and smoothies. Their coffee beans are sourced directly from their own coffee plantation in the Huay Hom area of Northern Thailand. Breakfast options, salads, pastas, and pizzas are all available, as well as noodles and rice dishes. Their French Toast, with fresh fruits and a touch of syrup, is a must-try indulgence. Equally recommended is the Hang Lay, Northern Thailand pork curry.
You can enjoy your hot drinks with dairy milk, or select a soy, oat, or almond milk alternative for a small fee.

The cafe also boasts a tempting selection of homemade cakes and pastries, including classic cheesecakes, their popular coconut cake, and a delightful vegan chocolate cake. Freshly baked bread, made without trans fats or preservatives, is also available daily for you to take home.
You can order your food or drink directly with the friendly waitstaff, or alternatively, via a QR code on the table, using the restaurant’s app on your phone.
Hidden Beauty
During your visit to Café de Oasis, don’t miss the lawned garden at the back, where you’ll find the restrooms. Flanking the steps are two stone basins, filled with a beautiful water floral arrangement every day.

You’ll also notice bunches of vibrant freshly cut yellow Mokara orchids tastefully placed throughout the restaurant each day, adding a further touch of elegance to the decor. These thoughtful details, along with the attentive service, make Café de Oasis more than just a place to eat.
