Housed in a renovated building east of the Ping River, GRAPH Contemporary presents two distinct spaces: the ground floor with its minimalist design interwoven with its industrial heritage, and the second floor offering a museum-like experience imbued with a European elegance. Two floors—one typical GRAPH Coffee Co. experience.
Unveiling GRAPH Contemporary
Walking down Charoen Muang Road, you could easily miss GRAPH Contemporary. The cafe’s interior is hidden behind a wall just beyond the window frontage. A TV screen, a hanging GRAPH sign, some vintage furniture, and a teasing glimpse through an open archway are the only clues to what lies within.

Inside, a gleaming stainless-steel barista station takes centre stage in a lofty warehouse space. The polished concrete floor reflects overhead spotlights, lending the space a sophisticated air. Distressed yellow paint on the concrete columns and walls adds a splash of colour, while the warm tones of exposed wooden ceiling beams and scattered potted plants soften the industrial vibe. Stepping in from the street, this dimly lit cafe feels like stumbling upon a hidden underground club.

Along the sides, upholstered bench seats paired with sleek stainless-steel cylinder tables offer comfortable yet stylish seating. Venturing further into the cafe, you’ll pass through elegant white voile curtains into a rear area featuring a spacious wooden co-working table. At the very back, a brick wall with arched openings discreetly hides the restrooms. Behind it, a lush screen of bamboo, softly lit by uplighters on a gravel floor, brings a touch of the outdoors in.

From Industrial Cool to Vintage Warmth
At the end of the barista counter an industrial metal staircase leads upstairs. One side of the stairs cleverly doubles as extra seating, with some round cushions on the steps. Upstairs, the space has a vintage, almost colonial European style, with eclectic furniture and carefully chosen vintage pieces—leather armchairs, stacked suitcases, a retro typewriter, a vintage mannequin, and a showcase of vintage boater hats combine to create a museum-like space. Classic framed portraits on the walls add to the European atmosphere.

In contrast to the lower floor, the upstairs is bathed in natural light streaming through a skylight and the building’s front windows. At the back, there’s a dedicated art gallery featuring a rotating collection of artworks alongside select GRAPH merchandise.

Crafting Coffee Excellence: The GRAPH Way
GRAPH Contemporary features GRAPH’s typical extensive coffee menu that spans everything from nitro cold brews to slow-bar creations, each accompanied by detailed tasting notes and insights into the coffee’s origins—a hallmark of the GRAPH brand. With beans sourced from local producers and roasted in-house, GRAPH’s passionate baristas are committed to ensuring quality in every cup. Their lineup of signature drinks is impressively diverse, ranking among the best in Chiang Mai. From their SOUL SMITH, a velvety blend of espresso, activated charcoal, and vanilla, shaken to a smooth finish, to their unique MAGMA; a smooth, cloudy harmony of espresso and creamy avocado almond milk—there’s truly something for everyone.

GRAPH Contemporary pairs its beverages with a tantalising selection of bakery items and desserts, temptingly presented in a glass showcase at the counter.
GRAPH Coffee Supply
A curated collection of coffee-related goods is available for purchase, including premium whole bean coffees, single-serve drip bags, ready-to-drink cold brew, various brewing tools and equipment, as well as branded cups, mugs, and other merchandise.
