Inside, Roast8ry Coffee continues its bold architectural statement with a sleek, industrial aesthetic that blends raw materials with contemporary design. There are two main seating areas—a sheltered outdoor zone where you can enjoy the shaded open air and a cool, air-conditioned interior. A large window with a sliding glass door separates the spaces, allowing natural light to flow through while maintaining a cohesive design.
The interior design stands out with grey panels and textured concrete walls, featuring a rough, corrugated pattern in dark grey. This raw, industrial look contrasts beautifully with the warmth of chunky wooden tabletops and wooden bench seating.
The space offers a variety of seating options. Long communal tables fill the main area, while smaller, more intimate wooden tables line the sides. A statement-making narrow high table, with a matching bench and stools, anchors the back. In the outside zone, integrated metal tables line the outer bench seats, adding a functional yet stylish touch.

Their first signature coffee, Ficardie, features a bold double shot of Ristretto topped with steamed milk, served in a striking skull glass. The Visionary Behind Roast8ry: Arnon’s Coffee Evolution

A New Chapter: The Rise of Roast8ry
Roast8ry is the passion project and brainchild of Arnon “Tong” Thitiprasert, a world-renowned barista and latte art champion. After refining his barista skills in Australia, he returned to Thailand and in 2011 founded Ristr8to, a speciality coffeehouse on Nimmanhaemin Road in Chiang Mai. Inspired by Australian coffee culture, Ristr8to quickly gained recognition for its high-quality brews and intricate latte art, setting the stage for Arnon’s continued influence in the speciality coffee scene.
He went on to win the Thailand National Latte Art Championship three years in a row from 2015 to 2017. This culminated in his victory at the World Latte Art Championship in 2017—a milestone that solidified his reputation on the global stage.
Around 2020, Arnon parted ways with Ristr8to to pursue a new vision, leading to the creation of Roast8ry. This marked a clear separation between the two brands, with Arnon focusing entirely on developing Roast8ry as a distinct, forward-thinking speciality coffee venture. From the first store, Roast8ry LAB off Nimman Soi 3 in Chiang Mai, to the Flagship Store opening in 2022, Roast8ry has continued to grow. In December 2024, it expanded with a third store in Khon Kaen, further cementing its position as a major player in the evolving landscape of speciality coffee in Thailand.
