Housed within the stylish Burirattana Hotel, Kati Breakfast & Brunch serves up international brunch classics with Northern Thai flair and a creative touch of coconut. Perfectly placed on the edge of Chiang Mai’s buzzing Sunday Walking Street (Rachadamnoen Road) and just a stone’s throw from Tha Phae Gate, this is where laid-back mornings meet a punch of local flavour.

Inside Kati Breakfast & Brunch: Colonial Cool Meets Brunch Chic
Kati Breakfast & Brunch oozes bistro charm with a tropical twist. The double-height interior is all light and air, thanks to tall windows and glazed doors that flood the space with natural brightness. Deep green walls, warm dark wood accents and a series of elegant arches give the room a refined, quietly dramatic feel—equal parts cosy and chic.

The seating strikes a balance between colonial cool and casual comfort. Think wooden chairs with breezy rattan backrests, woven rattan chairs that add a rustic touch, and two handsome olive green sofas framed in wood, piled with earthy-toned cushions. Green marble tabletops add a touch of understated luxury, tying in beautifully with the rich tones of the room. It’s an effortlessly stylish setting for lingering over brunch. One wall is playfully dressed with a curated mix of plates, wooden utensils and framed prints—adding a touch of whimsy to the calm, curated vibe.

Just off the main restaurant, a semi-open-air bar framed in wood serves up drinks to passersby and terrace dwellers alike. Outside, Kati blends seamlessly with the white colonial Lanna aesthetic of the Burirattana Hotel, its sleek grey-tiled terrace wrapping around the building and dotted with leafy tropical greenery—ideal for a streetside coffee or two.
Kati Breakfast & Brunch: Vibrant Plates & Tropical Tastes
Kati Breakfast & Brunch serves up a menu as vibrant and varied as its stylish interiors, blending Western brunch favourites with bold local flavours and a creative use of coconut for a subtle tropical lift.
For classic comfort, you’ll find a full English Breakfast, cheesy Toasties, and a standout French Toast layered with seasonal fruit, baked apple, berry jam, coconut sauce and a welcome crunch of granola. Sweet tooths are also well looked after with fluffy pancakes, banana waffles and tropical mango-topped stacks.

Healthier options shine too, especially the gorgeous Coconola (coconut granola), yoghurt and fruit bowls—think homemade yoghurt, roasted nuts, seeds, and colourful seasonal toppings. The Acai Berry Bowl and Mango Bowl are particularly popular, packing smoothie freshness into a beautifully presented dish.
There’s also a strong local line-up. The Pad Thai with stir-fried prawns is a reliable crowd-pleaser, while the herb-flecked fried rice with Northern Thai sausage, green chilli dip and crispy duck egg brings serious regional flair.

Elsewhere on the menu, there are loaded sandwiches, tacos, pastas, and creative fusion plates like the Chicken Croffle and Fish & Shrimp Spaghetti, as well as seasonal salads and even a cold cut sharing platter if you’re settling in for the long haul.
Every dish is generously portioned and beautifully presented, delivering one of the best brunch menus in Chiang Mai.
From Espresso to Exotic: Kati’s Drink Menu Delights
Kati’s drinks menu complements its breezy, tropical vibe with a selection of refreshing beverages that highlight its signature coconut flair. Coffee lovers will find everything from classic espressos to creative twists like the Cocogato—a scoop of coconut ice cream topped with a bold espresso shot—and the Orangino, a zesty mix of orange juice and espresso.

Non-coffee options include matcha, Thai tea, and citrusy coolers like the Yuzu Honey & Lemon Sparkling.
Coconut takes centre stage in more than a few drinks here — blended into a silky Coconut & Milk smoothie, poured fresh as coconut water, or infused into the fragrant Coconut Green Tea. It’s a tropical thread that runs through the menu.
